The six confirmed rarity tiers

The official badge records identify these tiers. Each row links to the badge for hatching that rarity for the first time.

This is a rarity reference, not a performance tier list. Verified speed values, cash multipliers, and comparable race tests are not available in the sources reviewed for this edition.

Rarity, traits, and shiny variants

The developer describes randomly generated coats, eye sizes, and traits, as well as shiny variants. These are distinct labels to record when comparing horses. The public description does not establish that every visual difference changes earnings or speed.

If two horses share a rarity, avoid assuming they have identical performance. If two horses look different, avoid assuming the more unusual one is faster. Compare their in-game details and results before drawing that conclusion.

Where do exact hatch odds come from?

Use the chance displayed for the exact outcome you want in the current game, if one is provided. Record which egg, event, and visible boosts it applies to. A chance attached to one trait is not automatically the chance of that trait combined with a particular rarity and shiny status.

A badge award percentage is not a substitute for an egg probability. Neither a count of badge owners nor a percentage of players earning a badge tells you how many attempts they made.

What does “1 in X” mean?

For a fixed independent chance of 1 in 100, each attempt has a 1% probability. After 100 attempts, the chance of at least one success is about 63.4%, not 100%. The example is mathematical; 1 in 100 is not a verified Race Horses drop rate.

Use the hatch odds calculator to enter your own numbers. It does not model unverified pity systems, luck multipliers, or linked rolls.

What remains unverified

  • A complete egg list with prices and per-egg drop tables.
  • The full catalog of traits and shiny probabilities.
  • Whether modifiers stack, and the formula used when they do.
  • A reproducible relationship between rarity, speed, race wins, and cash.

We will add numerical tables when there is a traceable source or a reproducible test. Until then, the badge requirements give concrete collection goals without inventing those values.
